Financial prosperity may be the one component most often focused on in the quest for success.  There are several simple steps that can help pave this path.

First, you must set your destination before you begin the journey.  This means setting goals.  Goal setting for short term and long term success is vital.  Write these goals down on paper and post them where you can see them often.

Secondly, you need to develop a plan of action to achieve each goal.  Again, put this plan in written form.

Third, always provide excellent service and/or an excellent product.  You must be a person of excellence.



THE LINK BETWEEN SPIRITUAL AND FINANCIAL PROSPERITY

If you are looking for the best book on prosperity, both spiritual and financial, read the Bible.  Financial prosperity is directly addressed in the Bible.  In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord said: “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”   And in 2 Corinthians 9:8, we read:  “And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient.”   These are only two of the numerous scriptures relevant to prosperity.    God wants us to be prosperous in all ways – our finances, health, and relationships – every part of every life!  How does this work?

First of all, we need to ask for direction from our Higher One.  And when that guidance is revealed and made known to us, we must obey.  As we follow this direction, we must continue to ask for His help and express gratitude when it comes.  We must stay focused on The One and obey His commandments as we prosper.   It is critical that we share the blessings.  As we share and give to others, we will receive more abundance from the Father who loves us.  Remember that prosperity is so much more than money.  Would it give you hope in the future if you lay dying in a bed of money?  At that time, you would need restoration of health and you would certainly feel prospered and blessed when strength and life returned to your body.

As you write your goals and action plan, keep in mind one of Zig Ziglar's teachings, ". . . if you'll just help enough people get what they want, you'll never have to worry about what you want."  You will achieve your financial goals and then some.  It is also important to remember that true prosperity and success is a blend of the financial, spiritual, personal and physical parts of life.
